HomeBase is operated by WellWellWell LLC, a United States company. In this Privacy Policy, "we," "us," and "our" refer to WellWellWell LLC.

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide and improve the HomeBase service
• Create and maintain your account
• Send email reminders about upcoming maintenance tasks (only if you opt in)
• Send transactional emails such as password resets and account confirmations
• Analyse how users interact with the app to improve features
• Respond to support requests
• Detect and prevent fraud or abuse

We use your home data — appliance types, maintenance history, and repair notes — to power AI-generated maintenance recommendations. This data is sent to Anthropic's Claude API to generate personalised advice. We do not use your personal data to train AI models.

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only in the following circumstances:

• Service providers — we use Supabase (database and authentication), Vercel (hosting), Resend (email delivery), and Anthropic (AI analysis). These providers process data only as needed to provide their services to us.
• Legal requirements — we may disclose information if required by law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of our users or the public.
• Business transfers — if WellWellWell LLC is acquired or merges with another company, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you before this happens.

Your data is stored on servers provided by Supabase, located in the United States. We use industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (HTTPS) and at rest.

No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. While we take reasonable precautions, we cannot guarantee absolute security of your data.

You have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• Access — you can view all your data within the app at any time
• Correction — you can edit your account information in Settings
• Deletion — you can delete your account and all associated data by contacting us at privacy@homebase.app
• Email opt-out — you can unsubscribe from reminder emails at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email, or by changing your preferences in Settings
• Data portability — you can request a copy of your data by contacting us

If you are located in California, you may have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). Contact us to exercise these rights.

Home Base is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

The app may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties. We encourage you to review their privacy policies.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or by displaying a notice in the app. Your continued use of Home Base after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
