Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of HomeBase, operated by WellWellWell LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using HomeBase, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

HomeBase is a home maintenance management application that helps you track appliances, schedule maintenance tasks, and receive reminders. The service includes:

• An appliance and maintenance item library organised by room
• AI-powered appliance diagnosis using photo uploads
• A maintenance schedule with task tracking
• Email notifications for upcoming tasks

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time with reasonable notice.

To use HomeBase, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information when creating your account
• Keep your password secure and confidential
• Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access to your account
• Be responsible for all activity that occurs under your account

You must be at least 13 years old to use HomeBase. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

You agree not to use HomeBase to:

• Violate any applicable law or regulation
• Upload content that is illegal, harmful, defamatory, or infringes on the rights of others
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other users' accounts or data
• Interfere with or disrupt the service or its servers
• Use automated tools to scrape or extract data from the service
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code from the app

You retain ownership of all content you upload to HomeBase, including photos, appliance data, and maintenance notes ("Your Content").

By uploading content, you grant WellWellWell LLC a limited, non-exclusive licence to store, display, and process Your Content solely for the purpose of providing the service to you.

You are responsible for ensuring that Your Content does not violate any third-party rights or applicable laws. We do not monitor or review user content but reserve the right to remove content that violates these Terms.

Home Base uses artificial intelligence provided by Anthropic (Claude API) to analyse appliance photos and generate maintenance recommendations. You acknowledge that:

• AI-generated recommendations are for informational purposes only and do not constitute professional advice
• Maintenance recommendations may not be accurate, complete, or suitable for your specific situation
• You should consult a qualified professional before undertaking any significant home repairs or maintenance
• WellWellWell LLC is not liable for any damage, injury, or loss resulting from following AI-generated recommendations

HomeBase, including its design, code, features, and content (excluding Your Content), is owned by WellWellWell LLC and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the service without our written permission.

Your use of HomeBase is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Please review it to understand our data practices.

HOMEBASE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. We do not warrant the accuracy or completeness of any content on the service.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WELLWELLWELL LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF PROFITS, OR PROPERTY DAMAGE, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF HOME BASE.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $100, whichever is greater.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless WellWellWell LLC and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the service, Your Content, or your violation of these Terms.

You may delete your account at any time by contacting us at support@yourhomebase.net.

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or if we are required to do so by law. We will provide reasonable notice unless immediate termination is required.

Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately. We will delete your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which WellWellWell LLC is registered, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of that state.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by displaying a notice in the app at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of HomeBase after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
